The 8^th eco Internet Awards, honoring the best providers of Internet Services, were held on June 17^th in Cologne, Germany.

DE-CIX was one of the sponsors of the 2008 Award ceremony.

Among others the following DE-CIX customers have received an award: Nethinks (best horizontal ASP solution), STRATO (best b2b Hosting company), toplink (best b2b ISP) and Kabel Deutschland (best ISP for residential customers).

DE-CIX' Frank Orlowski presented the award STRATO's CEO Damian Schmidt. The company received the award for its outstanding "STRATO Company portal". This is a web based business process management solution that helps companies to save on IT cost and to focus on their core business.
